I create unique custom pieces for homes around the world. It is always thrilling to work with new ideas and design inspiration that challenge and prove rewarding in so many ways.
My TV Console is a commission work for a Bangkok residence and returning client/family who also has four of my benches and a custom desk.
This piece will be holding 150 kg in audio equipment which had to be factored into the design and construction.
I made this piece from the most extraordinary American Black Walnut wood with subtle brass detailing.
The drawer fronts are all cut from a single plank of ’Tabak’ wood for continuous grain matching. There were bleached, brushed, and oiled for an effect similar to ivory.
The drawer boxes are made from solid oak wood with dovetails construction for strength and beauty. The dovetails lock the sides together like a puzzle.
The interiors are lined in genuine taupe leather.
Hand polished velvety smooth to bring out the incredible depth and touchy-feely vibes.
The drawers themselves slide on concealed hardware imported from Austria.
