A custom commissioned three-drawer TV cabinet / credenza for a Bangkok residence and returning client client/family who also has four of my benches and a custom desk. This piece will be holding 150 kg in audio equipment which had to be factored into the design and construction.

I made this piece from the most extraordinary American Black Walnut wood with subtle brass detailing.

The drawer fronts are all cut from a single plank of ’Tabak’ wood for continuous grain matching. There were bleached, brushed and oiled for an effect similar to ivory.

The drawer boxes are made from solid oak wood with dovetails construction for strength and beauty. The dovetails lock the sides together like a puzzle.

The drawers themselves slide on concealed hardware imported from Austria.

The interiors are lined in genuine taupe leather.

Every detail and element is made to work together in harmony and to create something special.
