Custom Square Dining Table in reclaimed Afzelia wood with Thai Symbols in brass inlays

A bespoke square dining table created for a beautiful hilltop seaview residence in Phuket. My client had requested for symbols representing Thailand could be inlaid into the four corners of the table. We worked on the design together and after a few back and forth messages, decided on a Thai temple, pagoda, elephant, and island of Phuket. Each symbol is precision made in solid brass and meticulously inlaid flush with the surface of the table. As per client request, a thin brass line frames the perimeter. The corners have been rounded and all edges are beveled underneath. This gives the thick table a more slender profile when viewed. The table itself is made from 6 old planks of reclaimed Afzelia wood known for its vibrant colours and durability
