Tabak Side Table with brass butterfly inlay

Cocktail table made from shimmering Tabak wood, with an inlaid brass butterfly.

I developed the solid brass base to set up the top beautifully as a jewel and finished it with a hand rubbed patina.

 

This piece was commissioned for my clients beach front residence in Nakhon Si Thammarat.

 

A conversational piece that is both unique and functional, and stands perfectly next to a lounge to hold a favorite drink, or in a corner to provide a spot for a flower arrangement or precious ornaments.
