Outstanding single slab of reclaimed Afzelia wood.  A substantial 3 inches thick! This giant tree would have been at least 200 years old. This slab was dying from old age and was taken down three generations ago by the grandfather. It remained on the same land and family home until I purchased the entire stockpile in 2018.

Quilted inlays are made from 300-year-old burl wood. Their grain figure allows for a holographic effect reminiscent of a precious jewel. Precious reclaimed woods butterfly keys are added to reinforce the natural cracks.

The legs are made from a solid billet of iron steel for incredible strength and precision with a bespoke mounting system. Hand rubbed patina and waxed.
