Dining Table in bookmatched reclaimed Afzelia wood for a home in the countryside of Ubon! Made from a set of rare book-matched makha wood slabs. A book-match is when I take a single slab of wood and cut it exactly in half down the middle. The pieces are then opened up like….a….book or a butterfly. Giving a beautiful symmetrical pattern. I used contrasting dovetail keys and burl wood for repairs with an artist touch. This is one of two dining tables I have been commissioned to make for the same home.
