Coffee table in antique live edge Afzelia wood with hidden drawer

Bespoke coffee table made for a beautiful conservation house in Emerald Hills, Singapore. This is my 4th table for the same family.

Made from an ancient slab of hydro wood combined with solid brass legs. Having laid submerged under water, these trees were hundreds of years old. This incredibly precious and rare timber is transformed by the lack or oxygen and light. Perfectly preserved with minerals absorption, the wood is beautifully dense with a deep natural glow.
