Rare single slab of reclaimed Afzelia wood. Quilted inlays are added for strengthening and repairing sections of the slab which were decayed. Alternating the direction and angle the wood inlays are cut and their grain figure allows for a holographic effect reminiscent of a precious jewel.

The wishbone legs are made by a team who normally build structural components for skyscrapers. Cut from a solid billet of steel with a bespoke mounting system. Antique dark bronze patina with wax finish.

The dovetailed drawer is made from incredibly figured and rare ‘fire’ salvaged Afzelia wood. The drawer front is finished in multiple coats of a hand rubbed oil to bring out the natural glow and beauty of this timber. Inset into the centre is a handmade drawer pull in solid brass, patinated gracefully to match the wood color gradient.
