Phoenix Low Table

Functional Art in Reclaimed Wood

$5,000 USD – SOLD OUT

The legendary Phoenix is cyclically regenerated, or reborn, obtaining new life through flames, and arising from the ashes of its predecessor. The majestic plumage, embers and radiant energy of the Phoenix, are imprinted into the tree, which is now in its third iteration.

The reclaimed antique Makha slab was sourced from Ayutthaya Province, Thailand. It was originally being used as a base for a Buddha alter. The gorgeous figure, also referred to as plume or feather, develops when a tree knits a trunk to a branch. 6 Makha wood butterfly splines add stability to the figure. The hand rubbed natural oil finish preserves the warmth and tactility. The Phoenix slab is mounted on solid stainless steel base mirror polished.
